Daylight Savings Time Safety Tip:
Replace Smoke Alarm Batteries
Daylight Savings Time begins Sunday, March 13. Fire District officials recommend that residents ensure the effectiveness of their home's smoke alarms this weekend by following a good rule of thumb: replace alarm batteries when changing the clocks.
Residents should also test smoke alarms once per month, following the manufacturer's instructions.
